The goal of the project is to create a movement against depression and suicide, aimed at creating strategic and effective practices that increase protection against the risk of suicide.

The project aims to reduce the rates of depression and suicide in the regions through a system of research and preventive measures in target groups. The implementation of the project involves the following tasks:

1) to determine the pool of educational institutions where research will be conducted on the topic of prevention of depression and suicide.

2) to conduct appropriate research on the causes of possible depression and suicidal thoughts.

3) to prepare video materials and necessary content for preventive measures.

4) to organize a panel session on depression and suicide prevention.

The project started in January 2019 in Nigeria and Ghana as part of the Nigerian Writers Prize. In December 2022, the project was proposed for implementation in other countries of the world through the IPC project portfolio.
