«REHABILITATION»
(initiating country: Nigeria)
The project aims to reduce the level of drug use through both face-to-face and online meetings with drug users or people at risk. The implementation of the project involves the following tasks:

1) to determine the target audience.
2) to contact drug users for the purpose of their consultation and further rehabilitation.
3) to conduct online meetings, educating participants from all over the world about the dangers of drugs and the consequences of their abuse.
4) to conduct a massive social media outreach campaign on the harms and consequences of drug abuse.

The project started in 2019 in Nigeria in the states of Lagos, Oyo, Osun and Ondo. As a result, the campaign reached more than 2,000 drug addicts, some of them are now in counseling and rehabilitation, and more than 10,000 online users around the world delivering information about the consequences of drug abuse. Similar methods are being implemented by IPC participants from Russia for a local audience, and the international distribution of the project continues.
