From October 11 to 13, in Samarkand (Uzbekistan), a meeting of the Youth Council and a meeting in the format of “Dialogue of Generations” was held within the framework of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) with the aim of uniting active, initiative, talented, intellectual youth of the region to discuss current global problems and developing proposals for their solution.
As part of the events, the participants united to discuss the current state and prospects for the further development of multifaceted cooperation between the youth of the region in such areas as science and education, ecology, creative industry and media, protecting the youth of the region from threats and radicalization. A member of the IPC, Head of the Youth Policy Department Askar Shaikidinov also spoke at the meeting.
