Participants of the International Project Congress around the world continue to develop public diplomacy mechanisms and build working contacts with the official diplomatic sector of different countries. Recently, another series of meetings took place:
1) IPC participant from Somalia Fathi Bashe attended the reception of the Swedish Ambassador to Ethiopia and Djibouti Hans Henrik Lundqvist;
2) IPC participant from Azerbaijan Anastasia Lavrina met with the Ambassador of Hungary to Azerbaijan Tamas Torma in honor of the National Day of Hungary;
3) IPC participant from Bangladesh Rakib Al Hassan attended the celebration of the 78th Independence Day of Indonesia and met with the Ambassador of Indonesia to Bangladesh Heru Hartanto Subolo, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh Kiminori Iwama, Ambassador of the UAE to Bangladesh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Hasif Al Hamudi, Ambassador of Sweden to Bangladesh Alex Berg von Linde. Also on October 17, an official partnership meeting was held between Dr. Rakib Al Hassan, Executive Director of the Center for Partnership Initiatives (CPI) and Mr. Panom Thongprayun, Minister Counselor of the Royal Thai Embassy;
4) IPC participant from Morocco Nidal Benali, during his visit to Baku, was received at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Baku by Mrs. Leila Boulgiouche, Deputy Ambassador of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The IPC secretariat notes that such contacts then play an important role in project exchange, information partnerships and university cooperation between participating countries.
