IPC participant from Kyrgyzstan Askar Shaikidinov organized a round table on the topic of climate change

On the basis of the “Youth for the Environment” project to implement initiatives of active youth of Kyrgyzstan aimed at improving the environment, IPC participant, Head of the Youth Policy Department of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, President of the Management Council of the United Youth Organization of Kyrgyzstan Askar Shaikidinov on February 16 organized a round table to develop proposals for the effective mobilization of youth to solve problems related to climate change. The project was implemented with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation GIZ in Kyrgyzstan.

At the round table, participants discussed increasing the environmental literacy of youth and society in cities and villages of the regions, solving problems, the consequences of climate change and its impact on youth, and together with experts they developed proposals for the projects in this field.
