The Future of Education in Africa conference, which brought together scholars, experts, education stakeholders and professionals in education sector, was held in Abuja, Nigeria from 18 to 19 September. IPC participant from Nigeria, founder of the Inmates Educational Foundation, Alabidun Mahfouz, advocated for the right of education of inmates and juveniles in prisons and why they need to be educated for the better society we strive for.
