The fourth Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development, themed “Africa in a Changing World: Re-envisioning Global Governance for Peace and Development,” was held in Cairo, Egypt from 2 to 3 July. The forum was attended by over 600 participants, including representatives from the UN, regional economic communities, international financial institutions and think tanks.
The IPC representative from Somalia, UN LDC Youth Ambassador, Chairperson of the Horn of Africa SDG Network Fathi Bashe participated in the forum. On the sidelines of the forum, he also held a meeting with His Excellency Robert Dussay, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Togo.
