IPC participant from Nigeria Musa Odewale Alatunji spoke at the UN Commission for Social Development in New York

The 62nd session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD62) took place from 5 to 14 February 2024 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Commission is the advisory body responsible for the social development pillar of global development. Priority Theme was

Fostering social development and social justice through social policies to accelerate progress on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and to achieve the overarching goal of poverty eradication. The Commission also focused on the emerging issue “Impact of Digital Transformation on Inclusive Growth and Development: A Path to Achieving Social Justice.”

IPC participant from Nigeria, CEO of BeMORE Global Consulting, Technical Lead of The Youth Consortium spoke at the Civil Society Forum and Youth Forum and shared his insights from over a decade of experience in the field of social development with high-level stakeholders from different countries. Also as part of the event, Musa Adewale Olatunji visited the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations.
