As part of the 7th meeting of the Ministers in charge of Youth and Sports of the Organization of Turkic States, which was held from November 8 to 9 in Azerbaijan, a meeting of the expert group was held. The meeting was attended by the head of the youth policy department of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan, IPC participant Askar Shaikidinov.
At the meeting, priority areas of cooperation in the field of joint development of youth policy and sports between Turkic countries and an action plan for 2024 were identified. The list of activities includes the organization of sports competitions, a business forum with the participation of young entrepreneurs, a forum of young leaders, a youth camp, a youth playground and a festival, the creation of a “Creativity and Culture” center to encourage creative youth of the Member States and the organization of a training program for young volunteers.
Also within the framework of the event, a discussion of bilateral cooperation between youth organizations of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan took place. During the meeting, the priorities of youth organizations of the two countries in working with youth, their experience, programs for obtaining support from the state, as well as a cooperation plan for 2024 were discussed in detail.
