IPC gathered young leaders from ten different countries

The III conference of the International Project Congress took place online, timed to coincide with the start of joint activities. The event was attended by young politicians, deputies of national parliaments, leaders of youth organizations and authors of major social projects from ten countries: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan, Croatia and Jamaica.

State Duma Deputy Igor Shubin, Deputy of the National Assembly of Venezuela Arnaldo Sanchez, member of the Valdai International Discussion Club and ex-director of the Center for Strategic Communications under the President of Azerbaijan Farhad Mammadov and many others spoke with parting words to the participants.

International Project Congress is an association of young leaders and youth organizations from different countries, created at the initiative of the Perm Youth Center. Members of the IGC have the opportunity to broadcast their experience in implementing social projects to other countries, as well as to borrow the successful practices of foreign colleagues. Already at the first conference Russian youth represented by Ilya Lisnyak and Mikhail Netsvetaev presented their project "Like to the Driver", which is currently being implemented in 4 different countries. Ayan Ismayilova, a representative of the International Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, a former young ambassador of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, shared with her colleagues the international project "School of Political Psychology". The General Manager of the Congress of Youth of Kazakhstan Kamila Amurtaeva presented a project for the development of domestic tourism, which reached over 5 million people in social networks, for which more than 8000 applications were accepted. The ideas presented at the event were announced as examples of projects that will be exchanged by the participants of the International Project Congress.

Following the discussion, the leader of the Youth Wing of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Juventud PSUV) Nick Oneto, international relations specialist of the Tajik National University Gulnoza Shoeva and Deputy Chairman of the Association of Russian Youth of Azerbaijan Sergey Danilov were appointed curators of the first areas of student exchange.

After COVID-19 restrictions delegations from the participating countries are planning face-to-face visits to study the mechanisms of working with youth in different countries.

At the end of the main session, the Belarusian Republican Youth Union together with the Youth Parliament of the Brest region held a thematic discussion at the IPC site dedicated to the anniversary of the tragedy in the village of Khatyn. The theme of preserving historical memory, preventing the falsification of history and combating the glorification of collaboration with the Nazi regime is being raised by the International Project Congress for the third time. The organizer of the first conference, timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the Victory, was the Russian side. The second conference in honor of the end of the Second World War was held by Azerbaijani young leaders, and the conference on the 78th anniversary of the Khatyn events was organized by the youth of Belarus.
