The second Kazan Global Youth Summit was held in Kazan, Russia from 28 to 30 August. 140 delegates from 30 countries of the world participated in the forum.
The main theme of this year's summit is the role of traditional values in the upbringing of children and youth. As a result of the event, a joint declaration was adopted, in which the participants agreed to work together on bilateral and multilateral relations, on the development of human rights, life and dignity, family and traditional values, the institution of the family, education and upbringing of the younger generation. The document also highlights the importance of international youth exchanges and initiatives such as the World Youth Festival and the Islamic Youth Games.
