IPC representative from Somalia, UN LDC Youth Ambassador, Chair of Horn of Africa SDG Network Fathi Bashe took part in the “Geopolitical Conversations” in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event was hosted by the Belgian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Djibouti, African Union, Stephane Thijs, at his residence in Addis Ababa. The Conversations serve as an opportunity to engage with the geopolitical discourse of all regions of the world and develop a better understanding of each other.
As part of the event, Fathi Bashe held meetings with the German Ambassador to Ethiopia and the African Union, Stephan Auer, where the current situation in the region, the need for collective action and the key role of the Africa-Europe Alliance, as well as with the Mexican Ambassador to Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti and the African Union Victor Trevino.
