IPC participant from Indonesia Samuel Tabuni spoke at the conference "Philosophy of Language and Identity"

The conference discussed the revival of regional languages: saving the human, cultural and land heritage of Papua (Indonesia), which includes 46 regional languages of the mountainous province of Papua.

IPC participant from Indonesia, CEO and founder of Maga Education Papua Foundation, Papua International University, Papua Language Institute, Papua Research Center, Papua International Study Center Samuel Tabuni spoke on the topic “Initiating change through language.” Reports were also presented on the topic “Synergy of culture and development”, “The role of religion in preserving linguistic heritage”, “State policy for language revival”, “The role of mothers as the main support in language revival”, “Legal protection of intellectual property rights in the preservation of local languages " and "The application of forensic linguistics in vernacular language revitalization."
