IPC representative from Jordan Trad Al-Masri took part in organization of the Arab SME Summit

The third Arab SME Summit and the 10th Rowad Entrepreneurship Conference were held in Doha, Qatar from 18 to 20 November 2024 under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.

The initiative aims to provide a dynamic platform to foster innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable development across the Arab region. The event features a range of activities designed to support startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their growth and development. It brings together key stakeholders to facilitate networking, knowledge sharing, and the exploration of new opportunities, in line with regional economic visions and goals. ISCWA member from Jordan, International Youth Ambassadors Foundation President Trad Al-Masri joined the ESCWA organizing team.

The summit also recognized outstanding achievements through various awards. Among the winners of the Social Innovation Award was Samar obidat for her inspiring work in the field of social innovation, alongside other remarkable companies like Snoonu (Qatar), Cure Bionics (Tunisia), and Tanafos (Saudi Arabia). This summit highlighted the vital role of SMEs and innovators in driving sustainable development, promoting digital transformation, and fostering economic growth across the region.
