Venezuelan IPC member Vanesa Montero López hosted the First Meeting of the Somos Venezuela Women's Network

The First National Meeting of the Women's Network of the Somos Venezuela movement was held at the site of the Venezuelan School of Planning, where women from 21 states of the country met. The meeting discussed the problems faced by women in the territories, their life realities in the communities. Despite differences in age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, occupation, political views, women are fundamentally united by their position in society. The meeting was also attended by Deputy of the National Assembly of Venezuela Asia Villegas Polyak.
