Environmental Education and Civic Engagement Leadership Workshop was held in Douala, Cameroon on February, 17. The seminar is organized by the International Student Environmental Coalition (ISEC) as part of its Green Earth Initiative. From several hundred applications, 35 participants were selected.
The Green Earth Initiative has been equipping and empowering young people and students in schools accross Cameroon to drive climate action and sustainable communities around them.
The project has already gone national: the organization will equip young leaders through this workshop and a series of activities who will then use environmental education and civic engagement to lead climate action in their communities across the country.
