IPC participant Tumisang Victoria Maheso received the Global Youth Leadership Award

Global Youth Parliament is one of the global largest youth ideas transforming organizations which started in 2010 in Nepal. The main aims are to motivate young minds in societal work, entrepreneurship, democracy and sustainable development for the better world. Annually GYP invites all the countries participants to Global Youth Leadership Summit & Award, this year to Thailand, June 23-26.

The Global Youth Leadership Award is given for the tremendous contribution in the area of youth, entrepreneurship, social movement and empowerment. The selection of the deserving candidates from around the world is made by Global Youth Parliament Jury Committee.

Victoria has been awarded for creating SAISA - South African International Student Assosiation, which aims to serve the needs of all South African students studying and living abroad. The main objective of SAISA is to eradicate the lack of knowledge of opportunities available for south Africans in their host country of study.
