The UN Water Conference 2023 was held in New York from 22 to 24 March at the UN Headquarters. The conference marked the equator of the implementation of the Water action Decade 2018-2028 plan, which is part of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
IPC participant from Brazil, Membership Engagement Officer of the International Water Association (IWA), Dr. Isabela Battistello Espindola, spoke at the panel session "Digitalizing water governance", which was organized by the Consulate General of Denmark in New York. The session participants discussed issues of environmental permitting, policing and monitoring in the field of water resources.
