IPC participants from Russia took part in the environmental initiatives forum

The Russian Forum of Environmental Initiatives was held on December 2-3 in Moscow, Russia, and brought together heads of non-profit organizations, leaders of environmental movements and groups, initiators of eco-projects and business representatives with a conscious approach to nature. The forum was attended by IPC Chairman Ilya Lisnyak, and IPC members from Russia Daria Kapranova and Anna Abrazhenchik.

On the sidelines of the forum, the best initiative groups and organizations that contribute to the conservation of nature, environmental education and the protection of environmental rights were awarded the annual "Ecopositive" award. Leaders of environmental organizations and environmental activists from all over Russia were able to exchange experiences, ideas and good practices in the environmental volunteering field. Business representatives discussed the implementation of ESG principles in the Russian economy, personnel training, the climate agenda and waste management. The best regional curators of the "Clean Games" project, which is part of the IPC project portfolio, were also awarded in a special nomination.
